Trinity Hall Catalysts

Trinity Hall Catalysts is a social impact programme designed for University of Cambridge students from all colleges and disciplines who want to tackle pressing social and environmental challenges. Through hands-on learning, participants gain skills, tools, and connections needed to create meaningful change.

What does Catalysts offer?

  • Build your CV with the Trinity Hall Catalysts Passport and a certificate.
  • Access funding and mentorship to bring your ideas to life.

How does it work?

The programme is designed to fit around your studies and your aspirations. It includes:

  • Live discussions, workshops, and panel sessions.
  • A final showcase event where you present your ideas for funding and other support
  • The opportunity to receive small amounts of funding at the start of the programme to develop your ideas.*

The programme also offers an online platform, giving you the flexibility to learn and engage on your own schedule.

*Note: If you receive early-stage funding, you’ll need to commit to presenting your project at the showcase event. Requests for funding for the 2024/2025 academic year have now closed.

Eligibility

  • Open to all University of Cambridge students from undergraduate to post-docs.
  • Complete at least four sessions (live/online) to qualify for the showcase event.
  • In the case of teams, one member of the team must be part of the Trinity Hall Catalysts programme.

*Those awarded funding at the start of the programme, must commit to participating in the showcase event.
