Biography

Professor Erdos’ main area of teaching and scholarship is information law. His principal research explores the nature of data protection especially as its intersects with freedom of expression and information in institutional journalism, social media and academic research. With a background in political science as well as law, his scholarship has drawn not only on traditional doctrinal analysis but also rigorous comparative empirical analysis using both quantiative and qualitative methods. Alongside information law, Professor Erdos has long-standing research interests in the constitutional law and history of both the UK and other Westminster-influenced democracies.
